Has been a long time since my last post.  Competition season has been in full swing since the spring with some great results.  Double Rivers 2 Cool (Heffe) confirmed himself at 1 Star level with a 2nd place at the Virginia International CCI 1 Star in May after winning his lead up start at King Oak.  Thanks must also go to Jana Scelia whose grooming talents and support have been much appreciated.  Heffe led the dressage at Virginia which was a great effort given this was only his 4th start at this level.  I look forward to seeing this horse progress as he has an amazing attitude and personality.

Double Rivers Money Penny has continued her success since arriving in the USA.  She has placed 1st or 2nd at all her starts at training level and won her combined training Preliminary level event.  She is yet to have a rail in competition since arriving in the USA last year.  Go MP!!

Both Heffe and Money Penny are now qualified for the Area I and II Championships.

My clients have also been having a great season.  La Boss sold to an up an coming junior rider from Texas and am sure she will continue to enjoy her recent successes.

Marissa Sarbak, one of my young students, has had some great successes this summer in the dressage ring.  She was Champion at Training Level in her first schooling show of the summer and followed this up at her first recognized show with two 1st places a few weeks later.  

Also on a dressage note, I have taken on the training and competing of Wendy Insinger's lovely imported Dutch gelding, Top Hat.  He has proven to be a fantastic competitor with 5 1st places and 3 2nds from 3 shows and 8 classes.  It was a pleasure to take Top Hat to his first 3rd Level start at The New Jersey Horse Park where he came 2nd with a 65%.  (This means one more 3rd Level score till I gain my Bronze Medal.)  Top Hat is for sale and will be missed as I have had such a fun time with him over the last couple of months.
