Wow!! Just got back from Loch Moy 1 horse trials with Noble and he won! He did a nice test, some really beautiful parts and a few small errors to be in 3rd...

In the stadium he did have the planks after the Liverpool down as I rode the Liverpool forward and ended up at the planks a bit soon….Oops...He is going to jump a great round in this phase though.  After walking the cross country I was certainly concerned as it really was a tough first prelim.  There was a bit of everything in it and with many combinations, wooded parts and tight turns, the time looked fast too.  All I can say is he answered the questions and made the time easy, such a rideable good jumper across country, so despite the rail his overall performance left him on top of a good field of riders.  The course did prove to be troublesome as there were plenty of stops and walk home , making the win a good result for the weekends work.

When we got back I found out that Baby Jay had been bought from his footage on the you tube videos.  He left happily loading on his new owner, Laura’s trailer.  We wish them the best for the future.

Although I haven’t covered what my own horses have been up to recently, they have been pulling their weight too in the blue ribbon department both in eventing and jumping.  Squirrel who gained high schooling jumper champion at the Four Seasons Show in the spring also ran 1st at Fair Hill in the prelim before doing his first intermediate start for 5th then went to Canada to do the Bromont CCI** for a fabulous 5th placing. Pulling up nicely after Bromont he’s off to Stuart CIC** this coming weekend.

If you would like to have your horse fill Baby Jays stall to join in with the fun drop me a line as one of my jobs this month will be to fill the barn back up!!……
Hope you all love your work as much, Cheers Kadi
