I know that as he gets stronger, he will be even more stunning on the flat as he such lovely canter and extensions and tries so hard.  Heffe then backed up with a great cross county run but I decided to take things steady as the aim was to just get a qualifying run in for Bromont CCI**.  Unfortunately, after a super show jump round we had the 2nd last down but we were all so pleased with his efforts over the weekend to finish in 5th in only his 3rd intermediate start against such a large and experienced field.  He is coming along so quickly that I have to remind myself he only turns 7 in April of this year!  (Mark is already trying to pick out his first 3 star!)   

Heffe will now have a little break ahead of preparation for Bromont CCI** in June and Squirell (DR Basil Brush) will be heading off to his first Intermediate to try and qualify for Bromont's CIC**.

Since the event we have been super busy moving in to our new barn in Hunterdon County NJ.  The property is beautiful and we look forward to having a fun time working out of here (check out the Facilities tab for more details).  If you are in the area and interested in having a lesson, sending a horse for training/competing or training with us full-time we would love to hear from you.
